The space sprayed by Katharina Grosse has to be experienced personally, because it would be too cringy to describe. The experience of the show is a multiple adventure changing depending on stepping into different areas of colour scattered around the space. The spectators can physically step inside massive colour scribbles then move across the neutral white floor and step inside another accumulation of different colours. Though the artist is well established for years it is still a fresh response to abstract expressionism treating gesture spatially and de-commodifying it through site specificity.
